Our Services: Your healthcare is our primary concern.

Chicago Foot & Ankle Deformity Correction Center's primary goal is positive patient outcomes. We achieve this through quality care from highly trained physicians that implement minimally invasive reconstruction techniques. This provides earlier patient mobility and better post-operative care.

Our areas of focus include acute trauma, sports-related injuries, orthopedic procedures as well as adult and pediatric deformity correction of the lower extremities. We routinely treat patients for: metatarsus adductus (foot/metatarsal deviations), calcaneo valgus deformity (severely pronated foot and/or ankle), and post-traumatic disorders such as arthritic joints caused by fractures or injuries.

Adult and Pediatric Limb Salvage, Lower Limb Deformity Correction and Limb Lengthening

Chicago Foot & Ankle Deformity Correction Center provides pediatric treatments for clubfoot, equinus, hemimilia and other congenital deformities. Minimally invasive procedures such as the Ponseti technique provides patients with better results when compared to conventional methods of treatment. Our entire staff is trained in the treatment of clubfoot, calcaneo valgus and spastic conditions of the foot and lower leg. Our practice utilizes the Ilizarov technique to correct a variety of musculoskeletal disorders, and our experience with external ring fixators has proved to be effective for initial reconstructive and corrective procedures. The Chicago Foot & Ankle Deformity Center is the only center that combines the Ilizarov technique with muscle flap reconstruction for bone and soft tissue defects in the lower limb and foot.

Muscle Flaps

The Chicago Foot and Ankle Deformity Correction Center has extensive experience in muscle flap procedures for over 4 years. Dr. Rodriguez has performed complex muscle flap surgeries using rotational, pedicle and transpositional muscle flaps for leg and foot structures for open trauma and for chronic and diabetic wounds.

The practice is designed to specifically treat nerve related pain due to trauma, failed surgery, diabetes, chemotherapy induced pain, rheumatoid arthritis, and other conditions. Dr. Rodriguez Collazo and Dr. Segura have combined their expertise in peripheral nerve research and advanced surgical techniques for the past six years. Together they have achieved an over 80 percent success rate with patients across all types of conditions. For more information about Dr. Segura’s services, please visit www.chicagopnc.com.

Autologous Therapies - Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP) / Stem Cell Therapy

Chicago Foot & Ankle Deformity Correction Center provides PRP and stem cell therapy. Stem cells are harvested from the patient’s blood during a pain-free procedure which is done in the office. As blood is drawn, stem cells are extracted and a centrifuge-type machine then separates the cells from the patient’s blood. The extracted stem cells are then injected into the area around the nerve to encourage the nerve to heal itself and reduce nerve pain, burning and tingling symptoms.
